About the high-waisted pants: visually cutting up the area with a wide waistband makes a world of difference.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8934949198246162744.post-1612719064809093512008-08-22T07:46:00.000-06:002008-08-22T07:46:00.000-06:00There's an OOP Vogue pattern (Donna Karan's) for h...There's an OOP Vogue pattern (Donna Karan's) for high waist trousers and I've seen it made up by Laura (http://laurasewingroom.blogspot.com/2008/01/how-could-i-manage-so-far-without.html). I confess being sceptic at first about this type of trousers but when I saw them on Laura I really loved them.Tanyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01073735708031525696noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8934949198246162744.post-35572101933713339352008-08-22T04:47:00.000-06:002008-08-22T04:47:00.000-06:00I liked the look of your high waisted shorts on yo...I liked the look of your high waisted shorts on you very much. I like the slouchy wide legged pants a lot. I first wanted to try the look with some jeans - http://www.burdastyle.com/patterns/show/3611. I bought some subtle brown denim already I want to topstitch it with a gold thread.cereganahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02912449162243805533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8934949198246162744.post-42455099261909824392008-08-22T03:48:00.000-06:002008-08-22T03:48:00.000-06:00I'd go with the pants on the left. I would feel silly wearing the others, but then again, you look great in all kinds of styles I'm scared of. :-)Jennyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08679998588660500127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8934949198246162744.post-69345925527458323462008-08-22T03:16:00.000-06:002008-08-22T03:16:00.000-06:00I vote for the high waist skirt ! In that case, the pant on the left is more of a moderate high waist - more like a large waistband, plus the crease is visually lengthening. I would refer you to Lauralo's blog for her Toreador pants, made with an OOP DKNY wardrobe pattern.rosannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00821550574752151039noreply@blogger.com
